Year in Review

Wednesday, June 15, 2016

Welp. The time is here, and I can't believe how fast it went. One full year as an expat complete!

Me and my seniors take an "usie" :)

I got off to a very rough start but quickly prevailed. The going got tough a few more times before I finally let age and wisdom kick in and let things ride.

I have one more year to go in Korea, and it will likely be my last. I have two, baby nieces back home whom I absolutely adore and desire to spend more time with. There's also a part of me that wants to explore other regions and have more experiences as an expat, elsewhere. Sometimes my Taurean nature kicks in, and I want to be planted in a home of my own again. It's all up in the air at this point.

I am plenty thankful for this experience so far. Lord willing, next year will be better and just as memorable.

I look forward to seeing what the future will hold for me. For now, the countdown is on. I cannot wait to get on U.S. soil and gain every single pound I lost right back.

Favorite foods, here I come!
